What services do you offer?

How do I get started?

• Fill out our quick Interest Form — just a few details so we can see if we're a good fit
• We'll follow up to schedule a quick call (45 minutes or less) to go over details, home access, and answer any questions
• From there, you'll fill out and sign the Service Agreement & Vet Notification online — a signed copy is emailed to you automatically
• That starts building your client profile
• Followed by an in-person meet-and-greet — we'll go over your pet's routine together
• Within 48 hours of your meet-and-greet, you'll receive your client portal login (generated password) by email

Are you insured?

• Yes — Sun Patch Pet Care carries pet care liability insurance
• Ask during onboarding if you'd like details

What happens if you're sick or unavailable for a scheduled visit?

• If I'm ever unable to complete a visit due to illness or emergency, I'll arrange a qualified backup and keep you informed throughout

How do I pay for services?

• Venmo Business (preferred) or cash
• Payment is due in full at or before the first visit of each service period

Will I get updates during my pet's visit?

• Yes — you'll receive a quick update after each visit through your client portal, including notes and (when relevant) photos

What's your cancellation policy?

• 7+ days' notice: no charge
• 24–72 hours' notice: 50% charge
• Under 24 hours' notice or no-show: 100% charge
• Holiday-period bookings require 14 days' notice for the no-charge tier

How does access to my home work?

• We require two access methods: a lockbox, plus one additional entry option (smart lock, garage code, etc.)
• The lockbox serves as a failsafe in case the primary method fails (low battery, power outage, connectivity issues, etc.)
• We never collect or keep keys on file
• Lockbox codes and entry details are gathered together during your consult call — never through a form or email, for your security
• If anyone other than you (family, cleaners, contractors) will access your home during a visit, fill out the Waiver of Liability beforehand
• Don't have a lockbox yet? We sell branded, weatherproof lockboxes for $20 — just ask during onboarding

Do I need to sign a new agreement every time I book?

• No — your signed Service Agreement stays on file
• Covers all future bookings
• Request visits by phone, email, or the client portal without re-signing

What if I need to add an extra visit or make a last-minute change?

• Once you have your client portal login, request additional visits directly
• We'll confirm based on availability
